Job Title: Admin Assistant (Study Support)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking the collection and collation of data dependent on study e.g. equine vets in Wales, Sheep farmers in England, Wales Scotland and Northern Ireland.
  • Reaching out and finding potential study participants
  • Initial point of contact for potential study participants.
  • Maintaining and updating of excel spreadsheets.
  • Assisting in social media and website maintenance and contributing to content as appropriate.
  • Assisting and or coordinating ad hoc internal business projects as directed

 

May also include

  • Maintaining office systems, including data management, filing, creating personnel files and ensure records are up to date.
  • Ordering, purchasing products & supplies, processing invoices and jointly responsible for maintaining the purchasing database.
  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
  • Dealing with incoming emails, post and deliveries.
  • Communicating with customers and suppliers.
  • Assisting staff with IT queries.

Post Offered:

12 Month Fixed Term Contract full-time position (37.5 hours per week)

 

Remuneration:

Salary £16770.00 – £22308.00 per annum [dependant on age]

Other Information:

Due to the rural location of our business and the lack of public transport, you are responsible to organise yourself (either by holding a valid driving licence and a vehicle to drive/ carpooling/ a lift) in order to get into work on time and leave work every day.

The candidate would need to be comfortable with the idea of farm animal research associated with improving animal health. Although the candidate would not be directly working with any animals the intimacy of the site entails that all employees work in close proximity to their accommodation.
