Discover how we can support your study
Contract Research
Ridgeway Research is a contract research organisation (CRO)
We provide contract research services to the veterinary, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and academic institutes. Ridgeway Research has a dedicated research department. Our study investigators have many years of experience and are very prompt in delivering quality, reliable results. We also pride ourselves in offering excellent support to sponsors and customers. Because we’re based in the UK, we work with the world’s most stringent animal welfare legislation and are proud to do so.
How we can help you
We work with clients from all over the world. We design, manage and report on various livestock, poultry and game bird studies to help you develop your products and gather the data you need to register a new medicine or vaccine.
Our facility is fully licensed to conduct studies to both GLP and GCP levels, and we typically run studies concerning pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics; this would typically include: residues, vaccines (both preclinical and clinical), toxicity as well as feed analysis, which has to be conducted according to EFSA guidance.
Our CRO capacity includes the following:
- On-site and field studies, or a combination of both
- A dedicated QA unit
- A biosafety Level 2 Containment Facility – we can conduct studies on pathogens that are zoonotic and harmful to humans, such as salmonella.
- Haematology, biochemistry, bacteriology, pharmacokinetic and residue testing through our links with other GLP-compliant laboratories
When time is tight, we can deliver
We appreciate that time can be limited once you have the intention to submit date. We have both the resources and the flexibility to meet your deadline, even when time is tight. This means you can be sure you’ll have the data you need when you need it. So you can get your product approved – and to market.
Please get in touch with us to discuss any studies you may wish to run. You can reach us via email at studies@ridgewayresearch.co.uk or via our study enquiry form.
